ENERGICA READY FOR MOTOE TESTING TO RESUME

The long winter break is over and it is now time for some much-anticipated MotoE action, as the exciting new class of MotoGP is set to return to action for another three-day test at Jerez de la Frontera, in Southern Spain. With mild and sunny weather expected to shine on the picturesque landscape of Andalucia, the all-electric power of Energica is set to be switched to on, with 18 beautiful Ego Corsa machines that will storm around the fast-flowing, iconic 4.4km venue that will host the first-ever official event of the series on the first weekend of May.

This will be the perfect opportunity for all the entries of FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup to continue familiarising themselves with the high-performing electric motorcycle by Energica they learned to love at the end of November while gelling with their respective teams. Single tyre manufacturer Michelin will also bring a new spec rear-tyre for riders to try.

K.I.T.T., come get me!

The Jerez test will not only be about MotoE. Energica will in fact take to the track with the stunning Ego Sport Black for extensive testing – carried out by Alessandro Brannetti — as it will equip the brand-new Corsa Kit Clienti – an upgrade designed to improve the already-excellent performance of the road-going Ego and turn it into a machine a lot closer to its race counterpart. The kit will be available for sale upon reservation.

The kit was designed and based on the development of the Ego Corsa and will turn the Ego into a track-ready bike: electronics, suspension and gearing are derived from the bikes that will compete in the prestigious FIM Enel MotoE World Cup. All the parts composing the Corsa Kit Clienti have been extensively tested by Energica’s test team.

Teams and riders will also get a chance to acquaint themselves with the E-paddock, the permanent structure which will work as “MotoE hub” during all five events of the year: this is where all the Ego Corsa will be located, with pit-boxes differing in size depending on the number of riders and offices on the upper floor.

Riders will be on track for a total of six sessions, each half an hour long, starting from tomorrow 13 of March until Friday 15th.
