Following the announcement that MotoAmerica is switching from beIN SPORTS USA to Fox Sports 2 and NBC Sports for the 2019 season, Roadracing World reached out to officials with the FIM MotoGP World Championship and the FIM Superbike World Championship to learn about their 2019 broadcasting plans in North America.

“MotoGP will be aired on beIN SPORTS USA in 2019 in the same way that it was broadcast last season,” Alex Arroyo, Manager, Commercial Media for the MotoGP World Championship wrote in an email to Roadracing World. “If your cable provider is not carrying beIN SPORTS you have the option of subscribing to our OTT [Over-The-Top] on www.motogp.com where you can enjoy of all the action, sessions and races of our championship.”

“Just to reassure you beIN is our broadcast partner for USA and Canada, so you can follow the championship through this network,” Benjamin Cobb, Communication & Brand PR, WorldSBK Media Department, wrote in an email to Roadracing World.

Like MotoGP, the FIM Superbike World Championship also delivers digital programming directly to customers via its Video Pass paid subscription service.

beIN SPORTS USA was dropped by DirecTV during 2018, but it is still available via Cox Cable, Frontier Communications, Time Warner Cable, and Dish Network. It is also available via OTT systems like Sling.com, Fubo.tv, and others.
