MotoGP Championship leader Jorge Martin won the MotoGP Sprint Race on Saturday afternoon at the Sachsenring in Germany. With storm clouds closing in and complicating setup choices for the riders, Martin took the lead on Lap Three and never was headed. The American Trackhouse Racing team took its first podium, with Miguel Oliveira finishing second, ahead of Francesco Bagnaia. Marc Marquez finished sixth after battling through the field from his starting position of 13th.
