EXCLUSIVE SUZUKI ECSTAR 2019 WIND TUNNEL TESTING VIDEO
Team SUZUKI ECSTAR MotoGP riders Alex Rins and Joan Mir test the new 2019 GSX-RR machine in Suzuki Motor Corporation’s high-tech Wind Tunnel facility in Japan in this new exclusive video published by SMC today.
Rins, Mir and the team visited Suzuki headquarters at Hamamatsu, Japan recently following the Sepang MotoGP test in Malaysia and before the final MotoGP™ test of the season at Qatar earlier this week, where much of the 3-D technology from SMC technicians was put to further tests.
During the Wind Tunnel testing, both riders felt great progress had been made to the 2019 GSX-RR and the bodywork; for newcomer Mir, it was his first experience in this environment, as he reveals in his interview, but both riders finalised their 2019 pre-testing with positivity ahead of the opening round at Losail International Circuit, Qatar on March 10th.
Both riders also enjoyed Suzuki’s Plaza and had the opportunity to meet Mr. Toshihiro Suzuki, Representative Director and President, Suzuki Motor Corporation, during their visit.
