MotoGP Will Continue Racing At Le Mans Through 2026

New five-year agreement with PHA and Claude Michy secures the future of one of Europe’s biggest MotoGP™ events

Dorna Sports is pleased to announce a five-year contract extension with PHA and Claude Michy to continue organising the French Grand Prix, securing the future of the event for a further five years. In great news for French fans, the event is now confirmed until 2026 as Johann Zarco continues making history for the nation in MotoGP™.

In addition, this season marks 25 years of PHA management of the French GP – making now the perfect time to announce another five years of successful collaboration.

Claude Michy, Gérant of PHA, commented: “We are very pleased to extend our partnership with Dorna and excited to continue building MotoGP in France. The French GP has grown and continues growing to new heights every year, and it’s fantastic to celebrate our 25th season organising the event by extending this agreement until 2026.”

Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta adds: “The Grand Prix of France is a key event on the MotoGP calendar and it always draws incredible crowds. Our longstanding partnership with Claude Michy has been tremendous in ensuring the outstanding event that the French Grand Prix is today and I am very pleased to consolidate our presence in France for another five years. The lights go out for the 2018 event on Sunday 20th May at 14:00 (GMT +2).
