Volunteer officials are still being sought for the Australian round of the 2006 Superbike World Championship at Philip Island from March 3-5, which is only 72 days away. That’s an earlier date than usual to work around the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Lunch and snacks will be provided during the three-day event, as well as free camping and the opportunity to experience all the on-track action at close quarters. There you will see three Aussies in world Superbike (Troy Corser, Karl Muggeridge and Steve Martin), and the same number in Supersport Kevin Curtain, Broc Parkes and Josh Brookes. Moreover, there will be a full complement of national support classes for Superbike, Supersport and Superstock competitors. To download an application form, visit ~http://www.ma.org.au/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Application_Forms&Template=/CM/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentFileID=12473.~ For more information on becoming an official, contact PI SBK Pty Ltd, tel (03) 5952 2710, or email [email protected]
