2nd Annual Motovid.com – Blackhawk Farms Broken Wing Benefit supporting Roadracing World Action Fund scheduled Saturday, August 31 at 6:00 p.m. (August 6th – Delavan, WI) Motovid.com and Blackhawk Farms Raceway are pleased to announce the 2nd annual Broken Wing Benefit to support Roadracing World Action Fund, held in conjunction with the Motovid.com All Levels Track Day Weekend August 31 – September 1 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. All proceeds from the Broken Wing benefit go directly to the Roadracing World Action Fund to acquire new air fence units at the midwest racetrack, located in South Beloit, Illinois. “Our first Broken Wing benefit raised $7,000.00 in 2012,” said Kathleen Casey, Blackhawk Farms Raceway. “With the incredible support of our motorcycling community, our dedicated staff, partners and sponsors, we hope to do it again in 2013. Please join us in support of the Broken Wing for good eats, good times and of course, for a very good cause–motorcycle track safety at Blackhawk Farms Raceway,” Casey added. The Motovid.com – Blackhawk Farms Broken Wing benefit is open to everyone, Saturday, August 31st starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Blackhawk Farms Pavilion. The excitement commences immediately after the track day activities at 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. While there is no cost to participate, donations are requested and of course, truly appreciated. Topping the list of evening activities, the Broken Wing WingMaster – best wings recipe & WingMonster wing-eating contests return with two full season of track days and ‘street cred’ on the line for the winners! Additionally, there are sponsored giveaways, contest prizes, silent auction, music, and fabulous food/drinks. Steve Harris, holding the 2012 WingMaster crown, brings his tasty recipes, and Bjorn Iverson defending the WingMonster title brings his destructive appetite for all contenders. Winners of both contests receive a full season of Motovid.com All Levels Motorcycle Track Days at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in 2014.
