Denver, CO – The Motorcycle Roadracing Association (MRA) is pleased to announce the election of its Board of Directors for the 2018 Race Season. The MRA held its Annual Meeting & Elections on the evening of November 8, 2017 in accordance with its by-laws. This year the club used online voting for the first time and recorded 141 votes, more than double the voter turnout experienced in previous years.
Jim Wilson was re-elected for a third term as President and will serve through the 2019 season. Long-time MRA stalwart, Jen Grosse, was re-elected for her fifth term as Secretary and Brett Leveque returns for his third term in the VP of Rules & Tech position. Shannon Moham, Jim Brewer and Warren Cook were also re-elected to their respective Rider Represtative positions.
This election included two open seats on the Board: Track Marshal and Rider Representative – Public Relations & Marketing. Danny Lee Clements ran unopposed to win Track Marshal while Cindy Wulf beat 3 other candidates in a tight race for the Rider Representative position.
