Denver, CO – MRA president and long time racer Jim Wilson is currently at Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colorado on a ventilator due to a two-week battle with COVID-19. Chest x-rays and CT scans revealed lung damage and inflammation that necessitated being sedated and put on ventilation. He is now on advanced life support (echmo) and is being transferred to another facility.
Wilson is a long time MRA board member serving in many capacities including Rider Rep, Vice President, and more recently President. Additionally, Wilson is an instructor with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, the founder and promoter of Racing for Fallen Heros, the MRA representative to MotoAmerica, and an avid dirt bike rider.
Friends and family ask that you keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers as he is in a very dire situation. A GoFundMe page will soon be set up to help with expenses related to his continued hospitalization.
