Continuing a tradition started in 2010 – the MRA will be hosting a 4-hour endurance race in 2012 on the weekend of June 9th and 10th at High Plains Raceway in Byers, Colorado! This event coincides with the MRA’s third round of the season, making it an ideal destination race for racers from other clubs that wish to challenge their skills at a new track in 2012. The MRA offers license reciprocity to visiting racers from other recognized clubs, as we have for the last 30 years. The 4-Hour Endurance race will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, June 9 and be preceded by a short qualifying session that morning. There will be three classes of racing in the endurance, all with open motorcycle eligibility (run what ya brung): 1) Solo Endurance (Titanium Butt) – A single rider competes in the event 2) Endurance Team – Multiple Riders compete using the same motorcycle 3) Endurance Team Relay – Multiple riders compete using multiple motorcycles Motorcycles can be of unlimited origin and unlimited displacement in all categories. The MRA has posted the complete set of rules on our website here: ~http://filezilla.mra-racing.org/files/2012_EnduranceRulesFinal.pdf~
