Riders looking to make the step into racing get a welcome bit of news this week and the MRA announces a discount for combining the pre-season MRA Race School with a 2012 Competition License. “The MRA is actively seeking ways to lower the barriers to entry and increase value for our members” said MRA President Tony Baker. “This is one example, we’ve taken two of our primary offerings and paired them to offer greater value to incoming members.” The program is structured so that when a new racer signs up for the race school, scheduled for April 6th and 7th, they have the opportunity to sign up for an MRA membership at the same time. Riders that choose to do this will receive a $50 discount automatically. Riders interested in taking advantage of this discount can find the race school registration forms by following this link: ~http://filezilla.mra-racing.org/files/2012_Race_School_Packet.pdf~ In addition, the MRA offers rider education during the season through the SuperStreet Program. This offering is for people who do not hold a competition license, but would like to improve their riding skills and experience the thrill that only motorcycle roadracing can provide. Classroom education, on-track instruction and a sprint race with the rider’s peers are all provided during the regular race weekend on Saturdays throughout the season. Details about the MRA’s SuperStreet Program can be found by following this link: ~http://forums.mra-racing.org/viewtopic.php?t=12495~ The MRA is dedicated to promoting safe and competitive motorcycle road racing events for enthusiasts in Colorado and the surrounding area. The MRA is now on Facebook at Motorcycle Roadracing Association, join our group and stay up to date on all the latest racing news!
