The committee of eight included three MSF staff members and four state administrators – none from motorcyclist-funded, state-operated programs administered under contract by the MSF – and represented the collective experience of four RiderCoach Trainers and two RiderCoaches as well. “The MSF is honored to provide a forum for peer review when it comes time to acknowledge those in the training community who give of their time and energy to enhance safety for riders,” said Buche. Since 1973, the Motorcycle Safety Foundation has set internationally recognized standards that promote the safety of motorcyclists with rider education courses, operator licensing tests, and public information programs. The MSF works with the federal government, state agencies, the military, and others to offer training for all skill levels so riders can enjoy a lifetime of safe, responsible motorcycling.
