FAMED MUNROE MOTORS OPENS NEW EAST BAY DUCATI LOCATION Join the Munroe Motors team for their Grand Opening party on December 3rd, 2005 at the new East Bay location Cupertino, CA Munroe Motors, famous for their Ducati racing experience and successful San Francisco Ducati dealership, opened their second Bay Area location, called Munroe Motors East Bay located at 15296 East 14th Street in San Leandro California. Two-time Ducati World Champion, Doug Polen, is scheduled to attend and sign autographs at the shop. Also in attendance will be AFM champion, Eric “GoGo” Gulbransen, and Isle of Man rider, Tom Montano. Come enjoy great food, drinks, DJ, raffle prizes, and special pricing at this open house party. “We’re really excited about our new location,” said Nick Hayman, Munroe Motors’ Business Manager. “This is a wonderful opportunity to represent Ducati in the East Bay, and we look forward to providing the best possible service to our clients.” The previous dealership in the area, IMX of Hayward, suffered a devastating fire in March of 2004 leaving the East Bay community without a Ducati dealership. “Following IMX’s closure, we managed to scoop up a couple of their most valuable assets parts guru Danny Martin, and factory-trained technician Steve Mandeville. These two are a real boost for our clients and for our service department,” said Munroe’s technical boss Matt Prentiss. The new dealership is located at the corner of East 14th Street and 153rd Avenue, one block from the corner of Fairmont Drive and Bay Fair Mall and is extremely easy to get to. The Fairmont/150th exit off the 580 Freeway is 3 blocks away and the Bay Fair BART station is about 8 minutes walk away making it simple to drop off or pick up your bike and use public transit to return. The business hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm and on Saturday from 10am to 5pm. The late closing during the week is designed to let people stop in on their way home after work. Munroe has a simple philosophy about service and that is to make it easy on their customers while offering top service and excellent product selection. “We have just about every model on display in the showroom right now” said East Bay Sales Manager Jim McLaughlin. “We’re holding the Grand Opening party on Saturday December 3rd – with great food and some special guests everyone is invited. We’ll also have a big raffle to benefit the Red Cross for Katrina relief. Keep an eye on our website www.munroemotors.com for news and updates.” For more information about the event, contact Nick Hayman at 510-276-3525 or by email at [email protected].
