Following the tradition that defines our brand, MV Agusta will be present on track this year as well. Team UnionBike-Gimotorsports will defend the MV Agusta colours on the tracks of the World Championship in the Superstock World Cup. The F4 1000 R312 will be ridden by Davide Giugliano and Alex Lowes. Both riders have shown impressive pace during preseason test sessions, underlining the competitiveness of the bike in the most important championship for strictly production based motorcycles. In the British Superbike Championship, MV Agusta will be the only non-Japanese motorcycle on the grid. Thanks to the efforts of the importer and the STP team, the F4 1000 R312 will take part in one of the most followed championships in the world. The riders chosen by STP are Chris Burns (ex MotoGP) and Victor Cox. The team will collaborate with JHS Racing for the development of the bike. Team Factory SBK, headed by Learco Ghelfi, will participate in the Italian Superbike Championship with Maurizio Prattichizzo as lead rider, and will defend the title won by Luca Scassa in 2008.
