NEW BRUTALE RR 1090, A SUPERBIKE WITHOUT FAIRINGS The legend is reborn and the Brutale family continues to grow. No fairing and pure design. For 2012 the MV Agusta Brutale model line expands with the third version, three different models for riders with different needs but all with a single core goal, the maximum riding experience on a supersport naked. Along with the entry level Brutale 920 and supersport Brutale R 1090 there is now the Brutale RR 1090, a true superbike with 158hp. Maximum performance without compromise, this is the creed of the new Brutale RR 1090. The Brutale RR 1090 is the most important addition to the new Brutale 2012 line-up, it is an absolute missile capable of exceptional performance and a level of handling that makes all other naked bikes pale by comparison. The 1078cc four-cylinder engine with radial intake and exhaust valves offers the highest power output ever by a Brutale. New camshafts, new intake tracts, new throttle bodies (same bore diameter as the F4) all contribute to the record power level of 116,5 kW (158 hp) at 11.900 rpm. This engine is simply extraordinary and capable of satisfying even the most demanding rider thanks to the addition of the slipper clutch, new engine mapping and traction control with 8 levels of intervention. The chassis of the MV Agusta Brutale RR 1090 is worthy of an authentic superbike without fairings, the ultralight CrMo steel tube chassis that is hand welded (TIG) with adjustable steering geometry that allows the rider to adapt the geometry to their personal needs. Logically, a superbike needs to have the best suspension available: Marzocchi 50mm USD front forks with DLC coating and dedicated valving for the Brutale RR 1090 together with a Sachs single shock with high and low speed compression adjusters along with rebound and spring pre-load adjusters. Completing the high level of components are the brakes and wheels: Brembo monobloc front brake calipers (the same as on the hypersport F4RR) with 320mm rotors as well as forged aluminum wheels that weight over 1kg less that cast wheels and help reduce the unsprung mass. The new Brutale RR 1090 offers an extremely high level of fit and finish including a projector beam headlight with incorporated LED position lights, LED front turn signals incorporated into the rear-view mirrors and LED rear turn signals. The Brutale RR 1090 is available in 3 color combinations: America, Red/Silver and Matt Magno Grey/Matt Black all for the price of 18.800€ (Every country could have a price variation due to local import duties and taxes) with availability beginning at the end of November 2011 in authorized dealerships.
