National Ride For Kids Day Scheduled September 12, 2021

The Ride for Kids community is excited for 2021 and we’re writing today with some BIG News! For the first time in Ride for Kids history…wait for it…we are introducing a national “Ride for Kids Day” to be held on September 12, 2021!

The Ride for Kids campaign is scheduling 20+ ride events to all occur on the same day. We have scheduled our national Ride for Kids Day in September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, to bring additional awareness for children battling brain tumors. The September date also gives riders and supporters an increased likelihood that they will be able to safely ride and assemble in large groups (pending COVID restrictions). Ride for Kids is also offering a virtual ride experience for riders anywhere to participate and show their commitment to children with brain tumors. Imagine the scale and awareness created for Ride for Kids and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation when more than 5,000+ riders hear “kick stands up” across dozens of events nationally on a single day! We believe this has great potential to bring in media and industry partners to grow the Ride for Kids campaign and celebrate total dollars raised and miles ridden.

Our new nationwide Ride for Kids Day announcement comes as we also honor American Honda’s incredible thirty years of commitment to children with brain tumors. Honda’s continued support allows the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to fund the life-saving research and family support programs. Thank you, Honda!

So, what can you do right now in preparation for our best year yet? Three things – Register. Fundraise. Ride! Visit www.rideforkids.org to get started.
