On Saturday September 3, 2011 NESBA will host the 5th annual Chili Cookoff Airfence Fundraiser at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Last year’s Champion Jan Boogaard intends to defend his title against stiff competition from 13 other chili cooks, and is confident his homegrown ingredients will give him the edge to repeat as champion. Past events have raised $25,729.00, and NESBA Midwest Director Fred Duncan hopes to surpass #1 fundraiser Brooks Gremmels/Shogun Motorsports for the number one spot on the RRW Action Fund list. Admission to the track is free, and a $10 donation is all that is required to sample some of the best chili in the country.
