LeoVince USA Announces Strategic Partnership for LeoVince & Sito Brands

Adler S.p.A. has entered a strategic partnership with Promet Sp.Zo.o.

Promet Sp.Zo.o. is a longtime manufacturer of LeoVince and Sito products.

The collaboration ensures the continuance of the LeoVince & Sito brands and a strengthening of the companies’ position in the Global Powersports market.

Richmond, Calif. – March 5, 2014 – LeoVince USA Specialized Products Distribution is pleased to announce that The Adler Group has entered into a new strategic partnership with Promet Sp.Zo.o., a longtime manufacturer of LeoVince and Sito exhausts and components.

Utilizing the strength of their shared resources and experience (more than fifty years in Powersports for each company), Adler and LeoVince will work toward a new common goal: to strengthen the presence of each company in the motorcycle sector and to continue to manufacture and offer high quality, innovative products.

“I have been in constant communication with LeoVince management throughout the reorganization process, and they feel that the most challenging elements of this transition are behind them,” states Tim Calhoun, President of Specialized Products Distribution. “With today’s announcement of the partnership between Adler and LeoVince, I believe it represents an important step forward for the LeoVince family of brands. Sharing their resources should expedite all processes necessary to return to full production.”

Calhoun continues, “This partnership is a solid sign to the Powersports industry that the LeoVince family of brands will continue to thrive in the market. There are great synergies between these two companies that I believe offer a realistic solution to face down the problems and challenges the current European and global market have presented.”

With this agreement in place, there is a clear strategy: Adler will support the present and future development of the LeoVince and Sito family of products to increase the presence of these brands in the global market. Adler will work in conjunction with LeoVince to inject three key components: strengthen the Italian R&D and design departments of LeoVince, modernize the Promet Polish industrial manufacturing facilities (production will remain in Poland), and streamline Promet’s processes according to modern production methods.

“It’s a very big challenge, but the potential of this project is enormous and it deserves all our trust,” said Alfio Morone, president and CEO of Adler S.p.A. “I believe that the synergy between these two Italian companies, both leaders in the powersports market, is an incredibly powerful strategy. We’re sharing passion, tradition, and experience, and we both have a strong desire to face new challenges, including those created by the current issues we face globally in our sector.”

Adler S.p.A. is recognized as a leader in the development and production of OEM motorcycle components. They specialize in designing and manufacturing OEM parts including clutches, variable speed drives, gears, gearshifts, rubber/metal components and transmission components for motorcycle manufacturers such as BMW, Ducati, KTM and Piaggio.
