New FIM MotoGP Rule Requires Rounded Exhaust Outlet Edges

Decision of the Grand Prix Commission

The Grand Prix Commission, composed of Messrs. Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna, Chairman), Claude Danis (FIM), Sito Pons (IRTA), Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA) and Paul Butler (Secretary), has unanimously approved the following modification to the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations for immediate application:

2.7.4.2 (new text) For safety reasons the exposed edge of the exhaust pipe outlet must be rounded to avoid any sharp edges.
