Orion Labs joins RoadRace Factory as new Team Sponsor. The new team name is officially – RoadRace Factory / Orion

We hinted at it earlier in the preseason and by now you may have even noticed a new logo on the bikes. We are very excited to formally announce our new partnership with Orion Labs. We have had the unique privilege to get in on the ground floor of some new telecommunication technology and we’re excited to help introduce them to our dedicated fan base and to race fans across the country.

Orion produces a line of wearable communication devices that sync wirelessly to your smartphone. You can place it anywhere on your upper body and instantly be in communication with as many of your friends, family or team members as needed. “At Orion, we love teams who do great things.” said Jesse Robbins, CEO and founder of Orion Labs. “All races are about great teamwork under pressure, and we’re particularly proud to support the RoadRace Factory team.

Danny Walker of the RoadRace Factory said, “We got to know the folks at Orion Labs a little while ago at Laguna. Recently we held a special American Supercamp event for them and these guys are awesome! They are true motorcycle racing fans and when they wanted to come on-board, it was a no-brainer. We had a chance to try their devices during that Supercamp and they were great. We could talk to our instructors without having to carry our phones (in our hands) or radios. We’re looking forward to setting some up for our purposes on track during the season so that we can all stay in touch from the pit wall, to the rig, to the media guy somewhere on track. These devices make it so easy to stay in touch.”

“We are proud to have Orion Labs as a team partner.”
