Old Glory Harley-Davidson/Buell is pleased to announce that Jaycent Gebers and Dennie Huff will make their AMA Pro debut at Road Atlanta, on April 5th, aboard the Old Glory Buell racing XB12R. Team equipment will be tuned by MRP Motorsports, using Racetech suspension, Pipercross filtering, Galfer brakes and Woodcraft CFM race parts supplied by the manufactures and Cal-Sportbike. The XB12R will be shroud in Flexi-Glass bodywork, custom painted to meet the Old Glory theme. Old Glory Harley-Davidson/Buell is located in Laurel, Maryland and has been selling and servicing motorcycles since February of 2007. As the name suggests, the theme of the dealership is a Celebration of the American Flag. Old Glory HD hopes that their dedication to national themes like this one, local themes, diversity of products including motorcycles, MotorClothes, parts and accessories, and dedication to growing markets including women and minorities will make our dealership a destination for riders and non-riders alike. Old Glory HD owner Steve Scalia is excited by the precedence that has been set. “We welcome these two passionate racers into the Old Glory family,” said Scalia. “We’re excited about being involved in the new AMA Pro Road Racing series with racers that are as passionate about the Buell motorcycle line as we are.” “It’s exciting to work with a dealership so enthused about their product,” said Dennie Huff. “Racing is our true passion and we are very impressed with how enthused Steve Scalia and the Old Glory family are about this new program.” “I was blown away the first time I met Steve,” said Jaycent Gebers. “It is great to find a Buell dealer with the same values and goals as our team.” “It was like a match made in heaven.” Look for the Old Glory Harley-Davidson/Buell racing XB12R to be at several AMA Pro MOTO-GT2 events throughout the year. About Old Glory Harley-Davidson/Buell: In 2001, after years of demographic studies and industry analysis, Harley-Davidson Motor Company (“HDMC”) chose the Laurel area for a new dealership location. When HDMC made the opportunity known, Steve Scalia and Ryan Kelley of Charlotte, North Carolina applied for and won the dealership Target Location. Since then, we have sold our other dealerships, conducted a land search, designed our site and facility moved to the area, built a state of the art motorcycle dealership and opened the doors to Old Glory Harley-Davidson.
