MOTUL JOIN MOTO RAPIDO DUCATI IN BRITISH SUPERBIKES Moto Rapido Ducati are delighted to announce Motul Oils have joined the team as a technical sponsor for the rest of the 2011 British Superbike season. The firm have kept a close eye on Moto Rapido’s progress this year and, after rider Scott Smart’s double Evo podium at Knockhill, team principal Steve Moore and Motul’s UK and Ireland brand manager Nick Turner agreed to work together for the rest of the year. “We are very pleased to be in partnership with Moto Rapido Ducati. Their move to the Superbike class has been impressive and Scott Smart has already enjoyed several podium places in the Evo field. Our partnership was born from Motul 300V being the lubricant of choice for the very technically-minded team and we are pleased to support this fast developing Ducati team,” said Turner. Moore added: “We were very pleased when Motul expressed an interest in working with us as it is not every day a company with Motul’s reputation and experience offer to help you with your racing programme so we are over the moon and look forward to working with them and their product development teams.”
