New Jersey Motorsports Park to host 5th Annual Food Truck Festival This Saturday, June 12
MILLVILLE, N.J. (June 9, 2021) – South Jersey foodies can look forward to this weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park for our 5th Annual Food Truck Festival! The festival will take place Saturday, June 12 from 4PM – 8PM, while the 24 Hours of Lemons race will begin at 9AM on Thunderbolt Raceway here at NJMP. Attendees of the festival can expect food trucks encompassing a wide variety of food, in addition to drinks, vendors, live music, and more. Participating food trucks include Cali Shakes, Chank’s Grab-N-Go, Chef Sheed’s BBQ Shack, Crawdaddys Cajun, Dominic’s Tavern, Ervings Brisket, Grub Spot, House of Cupcakes, Latin Bites, Lil Trent’s Grille, The Little Sicilian, Ohana, Potato Patoto, The Spirit of San Juan, and Turtles Corn with more to come. The Food Truck Festival is free to attend.
Seating will be available outdoors for guests to enjoy their food. Megan Knight, who was sent to Hollywood during Season 18 of American Idol, will be performing live. The Finish Line Pub will be open featuring a full bar serving cocktails, wine and beer on tap.
“NJMP is a world-class facility, and we’re excited to showcase all we have to offer by hosting this Food Truck Festival,” said NJMP Chief Operating Officer Brad Scott. “We’ve been expanding our off-track event calendar in recent years, and the addition of this type of event really shows what we have to offer off of the race track.”
On-track action during the day at NJMP is highlighted by The 24 Hours of Lemons which will be on track at Thunderbolt Raceway from 9am-5pm Saturday. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate for $30. The State Championship powered by F-Series karting series, which is free to attend, will take place Saturday at Liberator Raceway. NJMP also offers arrive and drive go-karting, for guests over the age of 14, which will be open from 11am-10pm on Saturday. Karting Reservations are strongly recommended. While Walk-ups are accepted, any Reservations may take precedent over those without.
