Stockton Mini Road Race Club announces 2007 race schedule Going on its 4th year of organized competition, Northern California’s premiere minibike racing club (SMRRC) is proud to announce its 2007 racing season schedule. “With several all new classes, our family oriented club is sure to please ages and skill levels of all types,” says club director Matt Myers. “From full size Supermoto bikes to Pocketbikes there’s a class for just about everyone with just about any bike.” The club’s exciting new NSR50 Cup class will pit riders of this purpose-built mini road racer against one another for some great season-ending championship prizes. The SMRRC prides itself as being known for providing a safe, well-run organization that really promotes learning the skills of road racing, especially for junior riders. “Our restructured ‘Junior Stars’ class, intended for ages 5 to 10, is designed to take our younger racers to the next level as they cross over from our pocketbike classes to the larger 12-inch-wheeled bikes.” said Myers. “No matter how old or young, Expert or Novice, the SMMRC will have you grinning from ear-to-ear once you experience the fun and thrills of mini road racing.” The SMRRC is gaining a reputation for being the local breeding ground for some of the country’s fastest up-and-coming road racers, like 16-year-old AFM 600cc Champion Bobby Fong, Redbull Rookie Cameron Beaubier and fast female phenom Elena Myers, who all cut their racing teeth racing with the SMRRC. All races are held on Sunday at the Stockton Motorplex Park located in Stockton, California. Need more info?
