NY Sportbike Club Donating Portion Of Track Day Proceeds To Racing 2 Save Lives

NYSBC hosts Racing 2 Save Lives Event September 6th Littleton, CO August 7, 2007 The New York Sportbike Club is dedicating its September 6th track event to Racing 2 Save Lives. NYSBC has been working closely with R2SL’s Corie McElwee, marketing and promotions, and Stan Foxworthy, Executive Director and founding board member, for this event. NYSBC will donate $20 for every rider who signs up for that track day event. “We believe in what they are doing with all the charity work and will support them as much as we can,” said Jose Plamenco of NYSBC. Racing 2 Save Lives is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children’s charities by raising awareness, involvement, and capital within the motorcycle racing community through donations, corporate sponsorship and fundraising events. All profits generated by Racing 2 Save Lives are distributed among carefully selected organizations that have a significant impact on the lives of children-in-need and their families. Racing 2 Save Lives will be holding its second 2007 event at VIRginia International Raceway, August 14-17. Contributions to the Racing 2 Save Lives event qualify for a tax deduction.
