Erion Racing Duo Set for AMA Pro New Jersey Event The dynamic duo of Benny Solis Jr. and Tyler Odom are scheduled to compete in the AMA Pro Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park on September 2nd-4th. Both riders will be working under the guidance of Erion Racing and will be based out of the silver Erion Racing big rig The 16 year old Roadracing World / Erion Racing / Red Bull backed, Honda CBR600RR mounted Solis Jr. has attracted plenty of National and International attention and fan support during his road racing career. 2011 is Benny’s first year as a “Pro” in AMA competition. So far he has taken numerous thrilling victories beginning with his doubleheader wins at Infineon, and continuing on at Miller, Barber, and most recently the MotoGP / AMA event at the legendary Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway where he held an 18 second lead in the closing stages of the race. The young 16 year old high school Junior honed his road racing skills on the amateur scene before being invited to join the Red Bull Rookies Cup competition where he won the 2008 Red Bull Rookies Cup US Championship at the tender age of 13. Solis Jr. narrowly missed out this year in capturing the 2011 AMA Pro West Supersport Championship. He’s sure to be a top contender for the win at New Jersey! His Erion teammate Tyler Odom has also had a strong 2011 season, proving to be a top contender by finishing inside the top 10 on his Erion prepared Honda CBR600RR. Odom has been a regular fixture in AMA Pro Racing’s premier “Daytona Sportbike” class where we’ve seen some of the season’s most exciting action occur. Although he is still working and training hard and looking toward to his first victory in the Daytona Sportbike class, he’s already proven himself to be a winner when he burst on to the AMA scene in 2008 with an upset victory in the inaugural AMA Supersport series race at Daytona. Both Erion riders are heading to New Jersey feeling refreshed and confident!
