West is contracted to run with Vesrah Suzuki in the WERA National Endurance Series and WERA National Challenge Series but has received permission from Vesrah Suzuki team owner Mark Junge to ride the Buell during the Labor Day holiday weekend event at New Jersey Motorsports Park. West turned down an offer from Richie Morris Racing to ride the Geico Buell in this year’s AMA Pro series and instead signed with Vesrah Suzuki. Danny Eslick then accepted the Richie Morris Racing/Geico Buell ride and is currently tied for the lead in AMA Daytona SportBike points with Martin Cardenas.
