OMRRA Holding Annual Vintage Days Event June 25 At Portland International Raceway

The Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association announces its annual Vintage Days celebration June 25, 2011 at Portland International Raceway. Activities include: OMRRA road racing including 250, 500, Dinosaur and Open Vintage classes. Hammer and Tongs vintage motocross, with special over-40 class for “vintage” riders on modern bikes. Pacific Scooter Racing Association races, utilizing the full 2-mile PIR track. Oregon Vintage Motorcyclist pre-1980 judged bike show with European, Japanese, American, motocross and scooter classes. Puddle Cutters moped gymkhana and races including replica of Qatar track. 2-wheel swap meet including road, dirt, scooter and moped items. Motorcycle and Scooter vendors including Royal Enfield, Ural, Vespa and Triumph. Oregon Superbikers motard racing. Parade laps for pre-1980 motorcycles. It will be a multi-ring circus of 2-wheeled activities. Gates open at 7:00 a.m., race motors start at 9:00 a.m., event ends at 5:00 p.m. Gate entry $10. Free to swap, vend and enter the bike show.
