An online registration form is available at AMARaceManager.com. In addition, FlatTrack.com, Dust Control Inc. and Brian Billings Racing Products are among the companies that are lining up to sponsor the AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships, the premier amateur dirt-track racing event in the United States. “It is a pleasure for FlatTrack.com to be a sponsor of the AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships, where amateur racers come from all parts of the world to compete,” said FlatTrack.com’s Wayne Hosaka. “The Grand Championships have traditionally not only produced the future professional stars but also given hundreds of racers, young and old, an event to remember for the rest of their lives.” Added Dust Control Inc. Vice President Del Shelstad: “I have personally been involved with the Grand Championships for the last six years. It is our honor to be involved in this event, and help where we can with the youth and amateur racers of our country. To experience the passion and enthusiasm of these young people as they set their goals high both on and off the racetrack is awesome to be a part of. Good luck to all.” Vince Holt will be on hand to represent Brian Billings Racing Products at the event. Holt is a long-time sponsored rider of the company. “Brian has been building dirt-track bikes for more than 30 years,” Holt said. “Today, he specializes in horsepower, motor dependability and suspension. Brian currently sponsors the 450cc class annually at the Grand Championships. Brian also promotes dirt-track races in Bellingham, Wash., and believes dirt track is alive and well. He enjoys attending the amateur Grands every year.” The AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships crown Grand National champions based on competition in short-track, TT, half-mile and Mile competition. Top riders compete for the AMA Racing Dirt Track Horizon Award, which honors an amateur racer poised for success on the pro level. “We appreciate the support of these top companies, and look forward to their participation in Du Quoin,” said AMA Director of Racing Joe Bromley. “The AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships have helped develop the careers of both national and world champions. It is truly the foundation of motorcycle sport in this country, and we’re excited for what promises to be another incredible year.” This year’s event honoree will be AMA Pro Racing Grand National Championship contender Bryan Smith, who races for the Monster Energy Kawasaki Werner Springsteen Racing Team. Joining Smith as a special guest will be AMA Hall of Famer Bill Werner, one of the most successful tuners in AMA Grand National Championship history.
