Questions and Answers with Andy Curro on his “Win A Buell To Support Airfence” Raffle Question: “What motivated you to buy the 2009 Buell 1125CR and then raffle it off?” Answer: “Many race tracks simply don’t have enough soft barriers, or have none at all. My goal with this raffle is to help the Roadracing World Action Fund provide Airfence* to the tracks that need it so more racers will be protected when a crash occurs. I know the proceeds of my raffle will be a drop in the bucket so to speak, but I hope it will help. Also since 2009 was Buell’s last production year, this bike could become a collector’s item.” Question: “Why did you choose the Roadracing World Action Fund?” Answer: “I have personal experience with John Ulrich and his team, so this was a no-brainer for me. I know that Roadracing World really cares about rider safety. Besides, their Action Fund provides more Airfence* than anyone else in the country. And not only for roadracing, but also to flat track and other extreme motor sports.” Question: “What’s in it for you personally?” Answer: “Nothing except the satisfaction that more riders’ lives can be saved. It’s a proven fact that an airbag impact greatly reduces the amount of injury compared to hitting tires or haybales, for instance. Airfence* really works.” Question: “How many tickets have been sold so far?” Answer: “126, leaving 74 still available. Our struggling economy has hampered the ticket sales somewhat, but it’s going pretty smoothly. One racer told me he had been saving $20 a week and finally got enough to buy his ticket a few days ago. I want to thank everybody who has bought a ticket, and especially those who are multiple ticket holders. Several have bought 10 at a time, and one person bought 20 tickets.” Don’t miss out on your chance to win! Get your winning ticket today. Tickets are $100 and only 200 will be sold.
