Over 30 AMA Pro Riders Signed Up For Track Walk With Fans Friday At Barber Motorsports Park

MORE THAN 30 AMA PRO ROAD RACING SERIES RIDERS TO PARTICIPATE IN TRACK WALK WITH FANS AT BARBER Portion of Friday’s ticket sales will benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Birmingham, Ala. – The list of GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing series stars signed up for the track walk continues to grow as the Triumph SuperBike Classic weekend presented by America’s First Federal Credit Union at Barber Motorsports Park draws closer. An additional 18 riders have been added to the guest list since the track walk was announced, bringing the total to 38 participants. ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive promoter of Barber Motorsports Park, will donate a portion of the day’s ticket sales to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The track walk will be free to all Friday, June 21st ticket holders and will begin immediately after all on-track activities conclude Friday afternoon. Riders who have agreed to participate include National Guard SuperBike rider Roger Hayden, SuperBike riders Larry Pegram and Chris Fillmore, former Daytona 200 winners and Triumph riders Jason DiSalvo and Joey Pascarella, along with fellow Triumph riders Elena Myers, Kenny Riedmann and Bobby Fong. With over 30 AMA riders agreeing to participate, this year’s track walk is shaping up to be a fun event for both the fans and riders.” The Triumph SuperBike Classic is the third round of competition for the AMA Pro Road Racing Series and will feature seven races over the 3-day weekend. In addition to the two (2) marquee National Guard Superbike Series, the weekend will feature two (2) races in the GoPro Daytona SportBike class, Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport class and one (1) race in the Vance & Hines XR1200 Series. Tickets for the Triumph SuperBike Classic start at just $15 per day and can be purchased at www.barbermotorsports.com. A three-day pass is $55 and includes a free paddock upgrade. Kids 15 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. The Motorcycle Super Saver package is also available online for only $130. This ticket package includes General Admission and Paddock access for each motorcycle event at Barber Motorsports Park, which includes the Triumph SuperBike Classic, Barber Vintage Festival and WERA Grand National Finals. Purchasers will also receive one (1) Sunday Parade Lap during the Triumph Superbike Classic. While at Barber Motorsports Park, fans are encouraged to visit the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, a 144,000 square foot home to the largest private collection of motorcycles, representing 20 countries and over 200 manufacturers.
