Last weekend, at the WERA Grand National Finals held at Road Atlanta, Vicki and Danielle Sulpy of VHS Photography, Inc. raised an impressive $2,385 in their silent auction to benefit The Red Flag Fund.
The silent auction was put on for a project that Vicki and Danielle completed as part of their marketing class at Georgia Gwinnett College. The project included creating and implementing a marketing plan for a non-profit organization. Being involved in the motorcycle community, the Sulpy’s chose to do their project with The Red Flag Fund. Vicki said, “Danielle and I had so much fun with this project. Helping out the Red Flag Fund was a honor for us. Thank you to everyone who participated by either donating items or bidding on them.” A Sunday track ride sponsored by WERA raised $475, and a donation bucket was out during Chuck and Charlotte Edgeworth’s farewell party. All together WERA raised $980 for the RFF. Brian McLaughlin, President of the Fund commented, “We were blown away by this end of season generosity. A huge thanks to Vicki and Danielle Sulpy of VHS Photography, Evelyne and Sean Clarke of WERA, as well as all of the people who donated to the fundraiser and auction. Your support allows us to help those who are injured bridge financial gaps.”
Brian continued, “We’d also like to thank those who donated in memory of Chris Spencer who passed away October 8th from injuries suffered after his crash. Our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to Chris’ family and friends at this difficult time. “
The Red Flag Fund is dedicated to helping seriously injured road racers. By raising money through apparel sales, auctions and other events, we are able to bridge financial gaps not covered by insurance. We are a Federal 501 (3)(c) non-profit charitable organization.
