REDDING, CA, January 2, 2012 – Pacific Track Time, a leading provider of track days and one of the “big three” organizations on the West Coast, announced the sale of the company today to AFM racer, Ken Casey. Ken has been a motorcycle enthusiast for most of his life. He started doing track days in the early 2000’s, becoming a PTT instructor in 2005, and currently holds a race license with the American Federation of Motorcyclists. In addition, Ken owns Powersports Supply Warehouse, the at-track tire and parts vendor operating at all Pacific Track Time track day events. “Pacific Track Time has proven to be the leader of motorcycle track days on the West Coast and I am truly honored to take over the traditions and operations that have brought PTT to the outstanding position it’s in today. Throughout Michael’s 27 years of racetrack experience he has implemented most of the innovations and operations that are now the industry standard at so many of the motorcycle track days today. I’ve had the opportunity to work side by side with Michael and I am excited to continue to make PTT the leader of innovative ideas like Michael has done for so many years. I look forward to working with everyone and to continue PTT success in the coming years,” said new owner and General Manager Ken Casey. PTT’s previous General Manager, Michael Earnest plans to assist in the management transition and day-to-day operations as a consultant. The companies current structure and service operations are remaining the same. Pacific Track Time’s 2012 season calendar will be announced shortly. “We are thrilled to have Ken’s enthusiasm and drive serving Pacific Track Time going forward. His vision for PTT’s future is shared in what I’ve embraced and fostered over the years. As my right-hand man, Ken performs every task with honor and determination. I’m confident that PTT will continue to be the industry frontrunner and leader of motorcycle track days on the West Coast. With his positive attitude and fresh ideas Pacific Track Time will, no doubt, progress in a great direction. As Ken will be taking over the ownership, I still plan on attending events to ride with my friends and first-rate customers that have patronized Pacific Track Time for so many years,” said Michael Earnest.
