Pata Racing team is ready to face the new Superbike 2011 world season. The press conference area within the MOTOR BiKE EXPO in Verona hosted a large group of insiders rushed to attend the unveiling of both the team and the motorbike that will face the Superbike World Championship 2011 and to hear the first words from the protagonists. A team aiming for big targets, throughout one of the history-hardest superbike world championship announced, with seven official teams on the go. From the next week on, things are going to get serious, as the team will be focused on the Portuguese circuit in Portiamo for the first of the two tests that will lead it to the start of the competition held during the last weekend of February on the Australian circuit in Philip Island. Daniele Carli – team owner ” I’m really glad to be here, at the go of this new challenge, today, thanks to a collaboration with Marco Borciani. We agreed in minutes without the need of getting to know each other, Marco has been my racer for 3 seasons long, through whose years he has gained lots of big international goals. There already was mutual esteem and the willing to give the best just made it all. Our team has its main base in Pressana (VR). A 150-seats hospitality area will be placed alongside the track as well as a semitrailer-garage. But most of all, it’ll count on a top-racer, a top-motorbike and a top-team”. Noriyuki Haga rider 41#- “I immediately accepted Daniele Carli and Marco Borciani’s offer. I will be provided with a highly-competitive motorbike, the one who belonged to the world’s champion 2010, with whom i really think i will be able to aim for the first places during every race. Throughout my career, I did achieve a lot, but I’m still not satisfied. I dream of winning the World title and isn’t said I can’t do it on this motorbike. For sure, on paper, officials teams are in advantage, but Aprilia has already shown its willing to give the greatest support to a racer fighting for a big goal”. Marco Borciani – team manager “Firstly I need to thank Daniele Carli, my former team manager and now involved in this new challenge. Later than that, Aprilia, who believed in us allowing to build up a team around a top racer like Horiyuki Haga. Yet, at the last season’s finale I had the chance to esteem the competitiveness of this motorbike and the support the Noale-based company itself offered us. I’m sure with Haga I’ll be back to lead a top level team that will have its say during the championship, after a season 2010 during which, for the first time since I’ve been here as a team manager, never had the racer on the podium. Now, we’ll have some tests where meanwhile we can face our competitors, even if the proper values will shown only during the first race in Phillip Island”. Andrea Prando – sportive director ” Building up this project involving so many different people wasn’t easy, we made it, but we are only halfway. Now we shall keep on committing ourselves to make the most of the whole technical potential and skills this company own. It’s a captivating challenge, but having seen all our members’ experience, one that we could win, ending to become one of the championship leading team”.
