On Sunday May 24, Patriot Racing will hold the first “Race to Recovery” charity event for the Fisher House and welcome a group of combat-wounded veterans to Summit Point Motorsports Park for Round 2 of the Championship Cup Series motorcycle road races. This will be the first of 3 events on the 2009 race schedule and together with their team of event sponsors, Patriot Racing is taking the opportunity to, “Stand with those who have stood for us.” On Sunday May 24, Patriot Racing will host 25 veterans currently receiving treatment at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center; providing them with the opportunity to come out to the races, enjoy some good food, and be recognized for their sacrifice in service to our great nation. Additional events are planned for July 5, 2009 and August 30, 2009.
