Larry Pegram, Owner & Racer – Foremost Pegram Ducati Team Pegram recently won his second Superbike race in ten years in a historic battle with Matt Mladin at Road America. As unbelievable as it might sound he might have been able to win two superbike races that weekend, but his tire selection on Saturday would not allow it. Pegram is only the second rider to beat Mladin this season. Pegram was off to a strong start this season but a nasty crash at Fontana served as a set back. As he prepares for the Laguna Seca race, he is in 4th place overall and just 7 points out of third place in the American Superbike class. www.pegramracing.com Aaron Colton, Stunt Rider & Street Racer Aaron Colton has had an unbelievable year this year! From placing in top podium spots in his Freestyle career to taking a stab at AMA Road racing. He has been staying busy throughout the last four years competing in Streetbike Freestyle competitions and at the same time doing exhibitions for Red Bull and Tucker Rocky. Aaron won the 2006 National championship and has also won many rounds since then. He is also the first rider to ever make the crossover voyage into AMA pro racing from the Stunt Riding scene. Even though he is not making a switch from one to the other he is showing that he can compete in more than just one sport. His Re-Vamped Website (AaronColton.com) will be launching at the end of this week www.aaroncolten.com John Farris, Marketing – Brammo John is well known in the motorcycle industry having worked at AMA and most recently with the motor sports agency Hard Card. His newest endeavor is heading up the marketing efforts at Brammo, maker of the Enertia. The Enertia is getting tons of coverage in the media because it is an electric motorcycle that will be sold at Best Buy. The Enertia is great news for the motorcycle industry and a game changer for motorcycle dealerships that have resisted using innovative marketing techniques. www.enertiabike.com Ricky Dietrich, Offroad & Motocross Racer – Team Kawasaki Ricky is making a name for himself in motocross and winning fans. A few weeks ago he raised some eyebrows with his finish at the Texas round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series and before that he had a solid finish at Glen Helen. This past weekend he did what some might consider impossible, by racing on the east coast on Saturday in the motocross series and then flying to the west coast on Sunday to race in the WORCS round. He finished in 6th place on Saturday with an 8th and a 9th at High Point in motocross and 7th place at Riverdale Raceway in Washington state on Sunday in the WORCS race. www.kawasaki.com Lisa Johnson Bakker, Riders for Health II, Inc. In 2008, Riders for Health opened its first USA office operating as Riders for Health II, Inc. American motorcycle road racing hero Randy Mamola and UK citizens Barry and Andrea Coleman merged their passion for motorcycles with the needs of delivering health care services in Africa to found this award-winning social enterprise in 1996. Riders is the official charity of MotoGP and will host the “Day of Stars” charity event during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on July 2. www.riders.org Crew at Pit Pass Radio Scott Casber, Tony Wenck, Tony Tice, Jack DeLeon and Ed Kuhlenkamp.
