Scott Kipphut of Meriden, Connecticut sent in this photo and a note: “Our cat’s name is Valentino. He came to us as a stray eight years ago and my wife said I could name him. I’m a huge Valentino Rossi fan, having seen him for the first time at the Dutch Grand Prix in 1997. “Valentino is a very smart and fast cat who likes to hunt down his prey and play with it before totally controlling it. His humans are Scott & Lynn Kipphut.” Do you have a pet named after a famous racer, or know someone else who has a pet named after a famous racer? Send an in-focus pet photo (as a jpeg file) along with the name of the pet, the name of their human or humans, and their hometown, to [email protected] . The photo may be featured on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.
