Pets Named After Famous Racers, Part 37: Rossi The Lab/Border Collie

Kirk Erlinger of Peachtree City, Georgia sent in this photo of Rossi with a note: “Rossi is a 4.5-year-old lab/border collie and answers to ‘Vale’ and ‘Fumi’… He is intelligent and super fast. A strange thing, in the last couple of years he was sometimes losing the front end when chasing tennis balls in bumpy, damp conditions, (but) luckily this year he’s better! He always is in a good mood and has a smile ready for everyone! His first night with the family was appropriately enough at a STT track day at Autobahn Country Club! (We used to be in Blake Young country but now we’re in Georgia.) His humans are Kirk & Mary Erlinger. “I’ve been a reader for over 10+ years, and I very much enjoy the magazine. I miss Sam Fleming’s articles, though! Great bike comparisons and fun to watch how Chris has grown, it must be fun to work with your family. Thanks for taking time to speak to Motopodcast and Pit Pass Radio, I listen to those all the time! Keep up the great work!” Do you have a pet named after a famous racer, or know someone else who has a pet named after a famous racer?
