Gordy Reimer sent in this photo and a note: “This is Duff, the prized pet of Seal Beach, California Supermoto racer Nicky Reimer. Duff is named after legendary (transgender) Canadian Grand Prix racer Mike/Michelle Duff. Like Mike/Michelle, Duff The Cat went through a mid-life crisis which resulted in (an operation). “For readers not familiar with Mike/Michelle Duff, see her bio on the Canadian Motorcycle Hall Of Fame site: http://motorcyclehalloffame.ca/duff_m.htm “As a side note, I met the pre-op Mike/Michelle Duff. He had balls as big as any racer of that era. He survived seven years of competitive 1960s GP racing when many didn’t. He was as tough and as serious a racer as anyone.” Do you have a pet named after a famous racer, or know someone else who has a pet named after a famous racer?
