Pets Named After Famous Racers, Part 62: The Bunny Known As Ben Spies Snow

Allan Pett sent in several photos of Ben Spies Snow, with a note: “Attached are photos of our bunny named Ben Spies Snow. Ben is owned by Sara Snow and Allan Pett who live in Novi, Michigan (45 minutes from Detroit or two hours from Grattan). Ben Spies the bunny is a rescue rabbit found on the streets of Plymouth, Michigan. Ben is half Flemish Giant and half Michigan ‘street’ rabbit. He is only 12 pounds (his mother is 20 pounds) but he is more bunny than I can handle. He is litter-box trained, eats out of your hand, can jump over baby gates, and he loves to chew iPhone cords/cables. I added a picture of the bunny next to our dog just in case you want a size reference. “I am a former WERA and AMA Pro SuperSport racer who took 2013 off due to medical issues. I hope to return to racing next year if things heal up correctly. I have gotten quite a few laughs from the Pets Named After Famous Racers series. Thanks for running this, and Happy Holidays. Allan Pett, Former WERA #272, AMA Pro #47 or #66.” Do you have a pet named after a famous racer, or know someone else who has a pet named after a famous racer?
