Pets Named After Famous Racers, Part 72: Valentina Hayden The Cat

Joe Talarico sent in this photo and a note: “Here is Valentina Hayden in Fayetteville, North Carolina. My wife Samantha brought her home as a kitten in 2010 from the school where she works as a Kindergarten teacher. I wanted to just call her Ducati, but Sam wanted more of a name. Since we both love Nicky and Vale and they were on Ducati Corse that year we came up with her name. “Watching Valentina Hayden run around the house, I’d say she has much better front end feel than the Desmosedici, but typical of cat behavior this is how she spends the majority of her days.” Do you have a pet named after a famous racer, or know someone else who has a pet named after a famous racer? Send an in-focus pet photo (as a jpeg file) along with the name of the pet, the name of their human or humans, and their hometown, to [email protected] . The photo may be featured on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.
