Pirelli Congratulates Road Racing Manager Jeff Johnston on 20 Years of Success
ROME, Ga. (October 6, 2016) – Today, Pirelli announced that longtime road racing and product manager Jeff Johnston would officially retire at the completion of the 2016 racing season. For the past 20-years, Johnston has played an instrumental role in the success Pirelli has experienced with road racing throughout North America, along with the development of products found on motorcycles across the nation.
“Pirelli’s longtime road racing and product manager Jeff Johnston will retire at the end of the 2016 racing season,” said Tierri Corte, Pirelli Region Moto Manager, NAFTA. “Jeff has been instrumental to the success of the Pirelli brand in North America for several decades and we wish him and his family all the best in the future.”
Johnston first began working for the Italian manufacturer in 1994 and has witnessed an incredible amount of technology advancements that have led to an unmatched number of track and land speed records, several which have accumulated during the 2016 season.
