Racing 2 Save Lives Teams With Pirelli To Raise Donations at Utah World Superbike Round Racing 2 Save Lives and Pirelli are teaming up to raise funds for two deserving charities at the Miller Motorsports Park round of the World Superbike Championship, on the weekend of May 29?31. R2SL volunteers will staff the Pirelli tent in the MMP vendor midway, helping to raise both money and awareness for Racing 2 Save Lives and the Roadracing World Action Fund. R2SL donates funds to children’s charities, while the Roadracing World Action Fund is dedicated to protecting the safety of racers. The Pirelli tent will be located in the midway area outside the eastern edge of the track, next to the Ducati tent. “We’re inviting all fans to stop by for some snacks and cold water, while perusing some great Pirelli merchandise that we’ll have available for purchase,” said R2SL President and Executive Director Ralph Forsythe. “Pirelli has generously offered to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sales of items such as such as books, hats and t-shirts.” The World Superbike event will also give fans an opportunity to learn more about the annual Racing 2 Save Lives charity track-day event, which takes place on July 3 through 5 at the world-renowned Miller Motorsports Park. The Roadracing World Action Fund helps educate the public and increase race track safety by purchasing soft barriers and deploying and demonstrating their use at various race tracks throughout the United States, and by providing motorcycle racing safety education on its website at ~http://actionfund.roadracingworld.com~ . Racing 2 Save Lives is a 501(c)3 charity that operates unique track-day events for motorcyclists, with proceeds donated to deserving children’s charities in the communities where R2SL takes place. Since its founding in 2004, R2SL has donated $246,000 to charity.
