Thanks to video conferencing, social networking, and the Internet, you can virtually be in two places at once. And that is exactly what racer PJ Jacobsen is doing. While racing with Tyco Suzuki in the British Superbike Championship, PJ is lending his expertise and experience to continue two race series he participated in while still in the States. The F150 4-Hour Endurance race will continue for a third season at OVRP in Cuddebackville [New York] this year. This race has earned national attention and has been growing every year as a great “racers’ race.” It has been a day of camaraderie, reunion, and remembrance among the racers who are able to participate. The Dirtrack Oval Race at the Orange County Fair Speedway continues this year at the Fairgrounds in Middletown, NY. This race features motorcycles, quads, slingshots, and legend cars in short heat races that always excite the crowd. PJ said, “Most of the work is communicating and organizing. Skype lets me be in touch with my sponsors and team in America. I can get the word out to the racers who have been supporting these two series through social media. These races are a great way to promote the sport in my home region, and my promotion is a great opportunity to bring racers together to compete.” Both series attracted racers from across the country last year. Having these chances to race is a bonus for the venues, the racers, and the sport in general. PJ adds, “Thank you to my personal sponsors who help make these events possible. Special thanks to REV’IT for providing some T-Shirts as prizes for the F150. Also to Nathan from DesignStars3 and Dennis from Teterboro RAMS and MOB Racing who are providing money for cash prizes.” REV’ IT! will additionally provide a pair of REV’IT! riding gloves autographed by PJ Jacobsen to be used as a prize at the F150 races. Help PJ keep racing alive in New York by supporting these two great series. For more information or to download the brochure, visit www.PatrickJacobsen.com/MotoPromotions .
