New Windsor, NY Bob Weiss and PJ Jacobsen will hold a benefit race at Oakland Valley Raceway in Cuddebackville, NY this October 31, 2010. All proceeds of the race will go to Rich Hansen of Moroney’s Harley Davidson. Rich Hansen who works for Moroney’s Harley Davidson and has turned many wrenches for some of the top dirt track racers in the country was in a very serious car accident. He was in critical care for the injuries he had sustained from the accident. He is now in recovery and will continue to be out of work for some time. The medical bills are mounting and he and his companion Marsha Coolbeth are expecting a baby in December. The benefit will be a 4-hour endurance race. There will be a four rider maximum per team and mandatory pit stop. The motorcycles to be up to 150 four stroke and 65cc two stroke. Some of the riders to date are: Kenny Coolbeth, Jake Johnson, PJ Jacobsen, Shane Narbone, Bob Weiss, Duane Veeder, Shayna Texter, Cory Texter, and rumor has it Gary Nixon may throw a leg over one of the teams bikes.
