Montgomery, NY – PJ Jacobsen today announced that he would not be racing this season with PTR Honda. “In the end we could not work out some of the details to move forward,” PJ stated. “I know I would have done well in the FIM Supersport World Championship, and certainly wish PTR great success.” PJ added, “For myself, I have a couple of options to look at. I will be taking all the options under consideration and pick the one that will be best for me and my sponsors.” When asked about having missed the first race in both the WSBK and AMA, PJ responded with his usual enthusiasm. “It’s just one race,” he said. “Don’t get me wrong, it’s disappointing to miss the very start, but I know I can make it up. We continue to have strong international sponsorship support and are completely confident about having a great season.”
