FIRST PERSON/OPINION Via e-mail: I received a phone call today from the Marietta, Georgia Police Department asking me to describe my recently stolen equipment. Afterward, they asked me to come down and claim what is mine. They found a broken down Chevy Suburban at a shopping center and it was impounded. Inside the vehicle were my stolen helmets, boots, tire warmers, race suit and various motorcycle parts. I can’t thank the shopping center enough for noticing the vehicle abandoned in its parking lot. From what I have been told, there has been a warrant issued for the offender’s arrest. Multiple items stolen from other businesses were also recovered from the vehicle. Nate Kern Marietta, Georgia
