For the next two rounds of the MotoGP World Championship in Indianapolis and Misano Adriatico, the Pramac Racing Team has chosen to substitute Mika Kallio with Spanish youngster rider Aleix Espargaro. Aleix, born on July 30th 1989 in Granollers, will have the opportunity to be back on track after having competed for two races in the 250cc this season. He has joined the MotoGP World Championship after becoming the youngest rider to win the 125cc Spanish Championship in 2004. Aleix Espargaro – “I am very happy as this season has been very hard for me. We are beginning a project for next year to be back in the World Championship and this will be a good occasion to get back in touch with with my world. This season I have ridden for a couple of races in the 250cc category in Assen and Sachsenring concluding in fourth and seventh position therefore I feel physical ready. It’s like a dream come true to find my self all of a sudden in MotoGP.
