Denver CO January 29, 2006 – Racing 2 Save Lives Director of Operations, Ralph Forsythe, announced today that on-line pre-registration will be open on February 1, 2007 for the May 3-6, 2007 event at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah and for the August 14-17, 2007 event at VIRginia International Raceway. “Participants can go to www.racing2savelives.org and click on the “Ride” section and choose the days and sessions they wish to ride in. By pre-registering, they will save $25 over the ones that wait until the event,” added Forsythe. “Any rider is eligible to participate in Racing 2 Save Lives! You do not need to have a roadracing license, and we’ll even have basic instruction available for those new to the track environment. Please see the web site for bike requirements. We will alternate between race and street-rider groups to ensure a safe, non-threatening, and fun experience for everyone.” Racing 2 Save Lives was created as a philanthropic opportunity for riders and racers to give back to the community through the combination of pledge fundraising, corporate donations and track riding sessions. In our 2006 event alone, over 350 riders participated in the event, representing 19 states, Canada, and England. Speed TV covered the event with an eight-minute feature on 2Wheel Tuesday.
