Michael Jordan Motorsports Suzuki’s Jason Pridmore was released from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) Hospital last night. Pridmore had to have emergency surgery to have his spleen removed on Sunday. Pridmore highsided coming out of the final corner during the Sunday-morning Superstock practice session at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, suffering concussion symptoms and abdominal pains. Pridmore is said to be recovering ahead of schedule and may be released as soon as Friday. More details will be reported as they become available.
